David Crowe grew up at Actor’s Express. He was a member of the very first Intern Class in 1990 and has performed in over a dozen productions, including Man & Superman, Love, Valour, Compassion!, The Laramie Project, and The Mystery of Irma Vep. During the nineties, David worked with many other local companies, including Horizon Theatre, Essential Theatre, Georgia Ensemble, and Shakespeare Tavern. His productions of Beautiful Thing and Jane Eyre, directed during his two-year stint as Artistic Associate at Actor’s Express, were listed in Creative Loafing, Southern Voice, and The AJC in “Best Plays of 2001-2002.” He left Atlanta in 2006 to study directing and acting with Jon Jory at the University of Washington.
