Artistic Director
Mark Smith graduated from Abilene Christian University with a BA in theatre. He has performed with various professional theatres across the country. He toured internationally with California Theatre Center, an award-winning children's theatre. Regional directing credits include Driving Miss Daisy, The Tempest, Schoolhouse Rock Live!, the RSC's adaptation of Peter Pan, the Southeastern Premiere of Alan Menken and Tim Rice's King David, and the World Premiere of Going with Jenny by playwright Thomas Ward at Atlanta's Theatrical Outfit. Legacy directing credits include A Christmas Survival Guide, The Year Santa Almost Forgot Christmas, The Cay, Song and Dance, Miss Nelson Is Missing, Disney's High School Musical, Greater Tuna, It's A Wonderful Life, The Elves and the Shoemaker, The Spitfire Grill, The Wizard of Oz, Plaid Tidings, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, Alexander...Bad Day and the World Premiere of Vintage Hitchcock: A Live Radio Play by Joe Landry, soon to be published by Playscripts Inc.

Bethany Hayes Smith recently moved to Atlanta with her husband, Mark, from New York City, where she lived for seven years as a professional singer, actor, dancer, and choreographer. While in New York City, Bethany starred in a solo cabaret of new works entitled: Uncharted Territory. Favorite regional acting credits include Into the Woods (Witch); Smokey Joe’s Café (Shimmy Girl); Annie (Lily St. Regis); King David (Bathsheba) and The Taffetas (Kaye). Most recently she had the privilege of performing at the Fabulous Fox Theatre with Atlanta’s Theatre of the Stars in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. Bethany has toured the world on Carnival, Princess, Cunard and Saga Holidays cruise lines as a principal vocalist and dance captain. She is also an award-winning choreographer and a member of Dance Educators of America. She has choreographed for various professional theatres, universities, theme parks, special events, show choirs, and dance teams. She currently teaches and choreographs for Doris Russell School of the Performing Arts in Tyrone, GA. One of her favorite “gigs” to date was performing for the NBA’s Indiana Pacers as an Indiana Pacemate!
